Coursera · University of Colorado System — Dr. Tim "Dr. T" Chamillard
Introduction to C# Programming and Unity
Colorado introduces C# variables, classes and objects through Unity 2D examples, with a programming-first route into game development.
Explore game-development courses for Godot, Unity, Unreal, and game design, with guidance on engines, small prototypes, and independent playtesting.
Game development brings programming, design, art, sound, and testing into one player experience. The first useful project is usually much smaller than a favorite commercial game. Pick one mechanic and an engine that your computer can run comfortably.
Choose a design introduction if you need to clarify rules and player decisions. Choose an engine route when you are ready to implement them. Match language and software prerequisites carefully, and check the license for every asset you plan to distribute.
Finish a one-screen game with a goal, feedback, and a restart. Watch someone play without coaching them, record where the experience becomes unclear, and revise that part before adding another feature.
