Microsoft — Microsoft
Explore Microsoft’s Azure essentials course on cloud models, core services, ARM templates, policy, monitoring, governance and a final project.

Microsoft combines cloud-computing explanations with an introduction to Azure services and resource governance. ARM templates, Azure Policy and Azure Monitor give the course an applied management focus, followed by a final project. This path is useful when you want to connect the benefits of cloud computing with repeatable deployment and the controls needed to keep resources understandable.
Beginner by the provider’s label and intended for learners without prior IT experience. The roughly eighteen-hour workload includes projects and assessment. Expect to spend additional time understanding unfamiliar infrastructure terms.
A completion certificate is separate from Microsoft certification. Exam registration, requirements and fees should be checked on the current official AZ-900 page. Azure demonstrations can incur charges; review the resources and pricing before creating them, practice with fictional data and remove unused resources afterwards. Portal names and interfaces change, so compare older demonstrations with current Microsoft documentation. A foundations course develops service-selection knowledge rather than proving that a learner can operate a production cloud environment independently.
Coursera offers paid enrollment or subscription access. Check the enrollment screen for assessment and certificate terms, trials and any financial-aid options. Provider access terms can change; review them before paying.
Plan a fictional resource group for a small application. Describe a naming convention, one policy requirement and a useful monitoring signal. Explain how an automated template could make the arrangement easier to reproduce.
