Course overview

KodeKloud separates cloud economics from the service and organizational models used in Azure. CapEx, OpEx and consumption-based pricing lead into IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and shared responsibility. Regions, availability zones, subscriptions and resource groups complete the sequence. Role-play scenarios help learners explain their choices to a client or colleague using a concrete business situation.

What you will learn

  • Compare deployment models and cloud economics.
  • Assign tasks using shared responsibility.
  • Organize resources with Azure architectural components.

Who this suits

Beginner by the provider’s label, with no previous cloud or programming experience required. The published six-hour estimate includes quizzes and scenario activities; it is not six hours of video.

Before you enroll

A completion certificate is separate from Microsoft certification. Exam registration, requirements and fees should be checked on the current official AZ-900 page. Azure demonstrations can incur charges; review the resources and pricing before creating them, practice with fictional data and remove unused resources afterwards. Portal names and interfaces change, so compare older demonstrations with current Microsoft documentation. A foundations course develops service-selection knowledge rather than proving that a learner can operate a production cloud environment independently.

Coursera offers paid enrollment or subscription access. Check the enrollment screen for assessment and certificate terms, trials and any financial-aid options. Provider access terms can change; review them before paying.

Put it into practice

Compare two hosting approaches for a fictional seasonal service. Explain how consumption, responsibility and availability differ, then propose an Azure subscription and resource-group structure that separates the service’s costs.
