UI and UX study connects how an interface looks with how people understand and use it. A visual mockup is one part of a broader process involving the task, information, interaction, and feedback. Start with a clear user need.
Combine tool practice with layout, usability, and accessible interaction. Look for projects that include alternatives and revision after feedback. A polished final screen is less informative when the course never explains the problem or decision behind it.
Prototype a small task and observe someone attempting it. Record the point of confusion, revise one relevant choice, and test whether the change helps.
