Board Infinity — Board Infinity
Learn ASP.NET Core, MVC, Entity Framework and Web APIs with Board Infinity, including authentication and connecting a backend to a React client.
Opens on the provider’s site. Check current access and certificate terms there.
Board Infinity concentrates on the server side of a .NET full-stack application. The sequence covers MVC and Razor, then persistence with Entity Framework Core, middleware and dependency injection. Its Web API module introduces REST operations and connection to a React frontend, making it a backend-focused continuation rather than a comprehensive course on React itself.
The header labels this Intermediate, although the written prerequisites say no prior .NET or C# is required and web familiarity is helpful. Learners new to programming should establish C# fundamentals before attempting the application examples.
Allow about 16 hours for the full course workload, plus additional time if the framework is unfamiliar. Authentication examples are educational and need further testing before real deployment. Verify the versions used in the lessons and compare configuration with current documentation. This independent Board Infinity course is not an official Microsoft certification, and its completion certificate does not by itself demonstrate the security or reliability of an application.
Coursera offers paid enrollment or subscription access. Check the enrollment screen for assessment and certificate terms, trials and any financial-aid options. Provider access terms can change; review them before paying.
Create a small catalog API backed by a local database. Add validation and appropriate response codes, connect one React screen, and test how the client behaves when a requested record is missing or the service returns an error.
