About Spring Boot
Spring Boot helps organize and configure Java applications using the Spring ecosystem. A short REST guide is a useful first encounter, but annotations make more sense when you understand the Java objects and HTTP behavior underneath them.
Choose a useful starting point
Begin with the official REST service guide and a compatible JDK. Check build-tool and dependency versions instead of copying a stale project configuration. Learn how a request becomes a response before adding persistence or a larger security setup.
Build on the lessons
Add a small endpoint with input validation and test it directly. Explain the returned status and body for both a valid request and a failure.
