Generative AI models produce text, images, audio, or other outputs from learned patterns and supplied context. Building an application around them adds requirements for data, evaluation, user experience, and operating cost. Begin with one output and a way to assess it.
Choose a useful starting point
Microsoft's open curriculum provides a flexible introduction to application development. Krish Naik's Udemy course offers a longer Python route through LangChain and Hugging Face. Check the prerequisites: an introductory chapter does not mean the later API and model work requires no coding.
Build on the lessons
Build a narrow application over material you can verify. Compare a simple prompt with a retrieval-based approach if external information is needed. Measure useful outcomes and failure cases before extending the interface or introducing another framework.
