About French

French resources differ substantially in their assumed level and teaching language. An intermediate course taught in French asks you to use existing knowledge to learn more. It is a different starting point from a first vocabulary class.

Choose a useful starting point

Try a sample before choosing a B1–B2 course. Identify whether your main difficulty is listening, grammar, or producing a response. A course level describes intended preparation and does not replace an official language qualification.

Build on the lessons

Write a short practical email and revise its clarity and register. Add spoken practice so that progress in reading and writing is not mistaken for balanced proficiency.
