About Ethical Hacking

Ethical hacking examines weaknesses within explicit permission and scope. Learning a tool is only part of the work: an assessment needs evidence, limits, and a useful explanation of what should change. A deliberately vulnerable lab is the appropriate starting environment.

Choose a useful starting point

Check Linux, networking, memory, and wireless-equipment requirements. Look for remediation as well as demonstrations. Course enrollment grants no permission to test an unrelated website, device, or network, and version-specific examples may not apply elsewhere.

Build on the lessons

Write a lab assessment brief and a short finding with its impact and mitigation. Repeat the check after a permitted change and document what the evidence actually establishes.
