Pearson introduces ethical hacking through information-security principles and the planning of an assessment. The cyber kill chain and testing methodologies connect technical work with laws, standards and scope. It is a focused foundations course within a wider learning route, useful for understanding why permission, evidence and boundaries matter before investigating a system.
The provider identifies intermediate study. Basic network and system knowledge will help you relate the planning concepts to a technical environment.
The current title describes a focused introduction; the long provider URL retains a wider CEH reference. This course alone is not complete CEH preparation and does not award a professional hacking credential.
