Course overview

Microsoft’s introduction uses a Python to-do application to demonstrate Copilot in development. Environment preparation and prompt crafting precede the project. Compared with a general overview, its value is the opportunity to inspect a complete small workflow and understand how the prompt, code and resulting behavior relate to one another.

What you will learn

  • Prepare a Copilot coding environment.
  • Refine a prompt for a specific Python task.
  • Build and examine a to-do application.

Who this suits

The intermediate course expects Python basics, terminal familiarity, software workflow knowledge and a suitable Copilot subscription.

Before you enroll

An introductory title does not mean the course teaches Python from scratch. Review functions, collections and basic debugging before starting the application.

Coursera offers paid enrollment or subscription access. Check the enrollment screen for assessment and certificate terms, trials and any financial-aid options. Tool subscriptions, model API usage and cloud services may cost extra.

Put it into practice

Add a to-do validation rule and test it with empty, repeated and ordinary entries. Trace the code path for each result.
