This Microsoft course starts with preparing a Copilot workspace before moving into coding practices. The two-module outline is a useful starting point when installation and editor configuration are still unfamiliar. Compare it with the project-focused options if your environment already works and you mainly need deeper experience reviewing generated changes.
The provider lists beginner level and no prior experience. Basic familiarity with files and an editor will make the practical steps easier.
An editor extension and a course subscription are separate products. Check your Copilot eligibility, account settings and supported editor version before beginning.
Coursera offers paid enrollment or subscription access. Check the enrollment screen for assessment and certificate terms, trials and any financial-aid options. Tool subscriptions, model API usage and cloud services may cost extra.
Create a small function with Copilot, test an ordinary input and an edge case, and explain any correction you make.
