Scrimba’s compact course distinguishes several ways to interact with GitHub Copilot. The outline moves from introductory concepts to modes, context and project work, ending with MCP. It is useful when you have tried autocomplete but want to understand when a conversation, targeted edit or longer agent task is a better fit.
Basic coding knowledge is required. Earlier Copilot or AI experience is unnecessary, but the provider labels the course intermediate.
A short runtime leaves much of the learning to your own coding practice. Rebuild an example independently to check that you understand the application as well as the prompts.
Coursera offers paid enrollment or subscription access. Check the enrollment screen for assessment and certificate terms, trials and any financial-aid options. Tool subscriptions, model API usage and cloud services may cost extra.
Solve one small issue first with inline suggestions and then with chat. Compare the context required and the review effort.
