Amanda Monaco connects guitar scales with arpeggios, chord progressions and rhythm. The sequence gives learners a way to relate a pattern under the fingers to the harmony they hear. It suits players who have completed introductory guitar work and want to explain why a note or phrase fits a progression rather than memorize an isolated scale shape.
Intermediate learners who have completed Guitar for Beginners or equivalent foundations. The workload includes readings, assessments and practice activities rather than the same number of video hours. A playable instrument and regular practice are needed for the applied work.
Plan regular playing practice alongside the lessons, using a tuned instrument and a tempo that lets every note sound clearly. Increase difficulty gradually and take breaks when your hands need them. A long video total is not a prediction of how quickly you will play well. Check whether the demonstrations require an acoustic guitar, an electric guitar or an amplifier, and use recordings to compare timing and tone over time.

Write a short original phrase over a simple progression. Mark which notes come from each chord, play the phrase with two rhythmic treatments and explain which version creates the clearest sense of resolution.
