GameDev.tv's Unity 2D course connects C# code to things you can see and play. The projects provide a reason to understand scenes, components, collisions, and game state. The checked provider title identifies Unity 6 material, but the learning value comes from understanding the relationship between an editor setting and runtime behavior.
A useful first game-development course for someone willing to learn programming through projects. Start small even if your eventual idea is ambitious. Debugging a single mechanic is easier when you know what every object in the scene is supposed to do.
Following a game walkthrough can hide how many decisions the instructor has already made. Change one mechanic before moving on. Publishing, asset licensing, performance, and monetization need additional study, and current Unity licensing terms should be checked separately from course enrollment.
Paid Udemy course with a completion certificate. The game engine, assets, and distribution platforms have their own licensing and account terms.
Change the scoring rule in one project and verify that the start, restart, win, and loss states still behave consistently.
