Vanderbilt connects a natural-language question with SQL and then with analysis of the returned data. The two-module structure follows both stages of the workflow. Choose it as a continuation after query basics so you can evaluate generated SQL rather than accept it without inspection.
Learners with basic experience running database queries and access to ChatGPT.
Query experience is explicitly expected despite the beginner label. Run generated SQL in a bounded practice environment and verify joins, filters and aggregations before trusting the answer.
Coursera offers paid enrollment or subscription access. Check the enrollment screen for assessment and certificate terms, trials and any financial-aid options. Provider access terms can change; review them before paying.
Ask for a query on a synthetic database with known totals. Introduce duplicate join keys and test whether the generated analysis detects the change.
