Codio — Patrick Ester
Compare Codio’s video-free Django course for projects, views, templates, models, Bootstrap and deployment, with Python prerequisites.
Opens on the provider’s site. Check current access and certificate terms there.
Codio teaches Django through runnable examples and short written explanations rather than videos. Project setup leads into views, templates, URL patterns and database models, followed by Bootstrap styling and deployment. The editable environment makes this a useful alternative for learners who prefer testing a change immediately and inspecting its effect on a working application.
Some Python experience is expected, while Django can be new. Review the browser-based exercise environment and the amount of independent coding required.
This is deliberately video-free teaching. Compare Django and dependency versions with current documentation, and inspect the deployment terms before moving an exercise beyond the provider environment.
Coursera offers paid enrollment or subscription access. Check the enrollment screen for included assessments, certificate terms, trials and any financial-aid options. Access conditions can change; review the current offer before paying.
Build a small list-and-detail application, change a URL and add one field. Explain the path from request to template, then test a missing record and document the behavior you expect.
This overview is based on the provider's published information, checked on . It is an editorial assessment, not a claim that we completed the resource. Time filters are approximate study ranges; projects and exercises can take longer.
