Beginner English: About You

Voxy organizes this course around information people commonly share about themselves. Family, routine and work provide contexts for repeated practice before the final tasks. Despite the beginner label, the provider expects an existing ability to understand and use simple everyday English.

• Talk about routines and hobbies.
• Share simple information about work.

Who this suits

Before you enroll

The teaching language is English, so preview the explanations as well as the exercises. Course completion does not establish a particular proficiency score. Leave time for speaking and writing practice with feedback beyond watching the videos.

Coursera offers paid enrollment or subscription access. Check the enrollment screen for assessment and certificate terms, trials and any financial-aid options. Provider access terms can change; review them before paying.

Put it into practice

Create a fictional personal introduction, then record a second version with clearer descriptions of routine and work.
