Basic Spanish 1: Getting started

UPV introduces Spanish through everyday exchanges and the language needed to take part in them. Greetings and personal information connect with pronunciation, basic grammar and repeated practice. It suits beginners who want a structured start and are prepared to spend time working through activities as well as watching demonstrations.

Before you enroll

Speaking and listening need active practice beyond watching lessons. Preview the accent, pace and explanations, and allow time to repeat exercises. Regional vocabulary can differ. A completion certificate records study; it does not establish an official CEFR level or replace a scored language examination.
