PaidIntroduction to Electronics
An introduction to electronic components and circuits, including diodes, transistors, and operational amplifiers.
Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani — BITS Pilani Instructors Group
Explore BITS Pilani’s electronics course on circuit laws, nodal analysis, AC behavior, diodes, transistors and operational amplifiers, with math preparation.
Opens on the provider’s site. Check current access and certificate terms there.
BITS Pilani develops electronics from basic circuit elements into common semiconductor devices and amplifier circuits. Nodal and mesh methods connect with time-domain and sinusoidal analysis. It suits learners prepared to work through algebra, introductory calculus and physics as part of understanding circuit behavior.
Beginners with basic algebra, calculus fundamentals and introductory physics knowledge, as recommended by the provider.
Review the mathematical preparation and any equipment requirements before enrolling. Use a circuit simulator or a supervised low-voltage learning kit for practice. Work involving mains electricity, high-current systems or stored energy requires appropriate training and supervision; an online completion certificate does not establish professional electrical competence.
Coursera offers paid enrollment or subscription access. Check the enrollment screen for assessment and certificate terms, trials and any financial-aid options. Provider access terms can change; review them before paying.
Simulate a small amplifier circuit, record its assumptions, and compare the predicted response with the simulator’s result.
This overview is based on the provider's published information, checked on . It is an editorial assessment, not a claim that we completed the resource. Time filters are approximate study ranges; projects and exercises can take longer.
