LinkedIn’s own learning path groups five taught courses around the advertising workflow, then offers a practice exam and a separate certification exam. It suits beginners who want platform-authored instruction before comparing third-party courses. The sequence connects setup, audience choices, formats and optimization, while keeping the time needed for lessons distinct from the additional work of exam preparation.
Beginners interested in platform-authored advertising instruction. The five teaching sections total about three hours; practice and certification exams add time and are not counted as separate courses.
LinkedIn interfaces, ad formats and account requirements change. Check the current platform rules before using outreach or automation, and respect recipients’ choices. Paid campaigns, premium products and external tools can cost extra. Practice with fictional business information and a campaign plan before spending. A training certificate is distinct from an official LinkedIn certification exam, and results are not guaranteed.
LinkedIn offers the Marketing Academy learning courses and certification preparation free of charge. Registration or sign-in is required. The certification is awarded after passing the separate exam; completing lessons alone does not award it. Actual advertising requires a separate budget.
Plan a fictional LinkedIn campaign on paper. Match an objective with an audience and ad format, explain one optimization choice and identify which platform lesson you would revisit before attempting the exam.
