Learn WordPress introduces the tasks involved in running a WordPress website. The lesson sequence moves through the interface, Site Editor and content creation before addressing spam, backups, SEO and finding help. It suits a new site owner who wants to understand routine publishing and maintenance decisions before selecting a paid theme or collecting plugins for features they may not need.
New WordPress users. This four-hour course focuses on using and maintaining a site; programming is not the central learning goal. Allow additional time to repeat the lessons on your own installation.
Use a local or disposable WordPress installation for exercises and keep backups before changing themes, plugins or code. Hosting, domains and premium plugins can cost extra. Compare the demonstrated WordPress version with your installation; interface changes do not make every older lesson obsolete, but code and security advice need current checks. Course completion does not guarantee traffic, clients or employment.
The official Learn WordPress lessons are publicly available without payment. A WordPress.org account can be used to enroll and track progress. Hosting and optional commercial services are separate; no completion certificate is promised on this course page.
Create a small practice site with an about page and two posts. Explain its navigation, record a backup plan and identify one publishing check you would repeat before adding new content.
