POSTECH connects thermodynamic laws with the calculation of heat, energy and equilibrium. Gas behavior leads into enthalpy, thermodynamic processes, entropy and Gibbs free energy. The syllabus includes Jupyter and HTML learning materials. It suits learners who want a concise quantitative treatment and can follow the mathematics behind a chemical calculation.
Intermediate learners with science and mathematics preparation; review the numerical-material format and expected background before enrollment.
Use the lessons for conceptual study and problem solving. Chemical demonstrations do not make an activity suitable for an unsupervised home experiment. Check the assumed mathematics and chemistry background, show units in calculations and compare your reasoning with worked solutions rather than memorizing an answer.
Coursera offers paid enrollment or subscription access. Check the enrollment screen for assessment and certificate terms, trials and any financial-aid options. Provider access terms can change; review them before paying.
Work through a hypothetical reaction-energy calculation with units and a stated reference state. Explain why a favorable Gibbs-energy change does not specify how quickly the reaction occurs.
This overview is based on the provider's published information, checked on . It is an editorial assessment, not a claim that we completed the resource. Time filters are approximate study ranges; projects and exercises can take longer.
