Midjourney Advanced Prompt Guide: Master AI Art Prompts

Arnold Trinh focuses on the structure of a Midjourney prompt and the decisions needed to refine it. The lessons progress from advanced prompting foundations into more complex scenes. It suits learners who already produce basic images and want to identify why a composition misses the brief, then change the relevant instruction without rewriting everything at once.

What you will learn

• Structure prompts for more deliberate visual direction.
• Refine instructions after reviewing generated results.
• Build complex scenes with a clearer creative intent.

Who this suits

Intermediate learners with related Midjourney experience. The duration describes total coursework, including readings and assessments, rather than an equal number of video hours.

Before you enroll

Check the demonstrated interface and model version before following older lessons, because controls and access plans change. A course purchase does not include a separate image-tool subscription, generation credits or cloud GPU time. Use reference images you have permission to upload, inspect generated details carefully and review the relevant model license before publishing. Keep a record of prompts, settings and edits so another person can understand your process.

Coursera offers paid enrollment or subscription access. Check the enrollment screen for assessment and certificate terms, trials and any financial-aid options. Provider access terms can change; review them before paying.

Put it into practice

Create a fictional scene containing a character, a location and one important prop. Identify a failed relationship between those elements, revise only the relevant prompt phrase and compare the resulting composition.
