Course overview

LearnQuest introduces Scrum through the benefits and responsibilities of incremental work. Team accountabilities, sprint events, artifacts and the Definition of Done provide an organized foundation. It is the opening course in a longer learning sequence, useful when you want the basic framework explained before studying reporting, scaling or examination-oriented review.

What you will learn

  • Explain incremental delivery and its feedback opportunities.
  • Describe Scrum accountabilities, events and artifacts.
  • Connect a Definition of Done with an inspectable result.

Who this suits

The course is intended for Scrum beginners. Use a small project as a running example so the terms describe observable work rather than remain definitions to memorize.

Before you enroll

A completion certificate is separate from PSM I or CSM. Scrum.org permits its assessment without compulsory class attendance; Scrum Alliance requires the approved CSM training route. Check the chosen credential’s current rules and fees.

Coursera offers paid enrollment or subscription access. Check the enrollment screen for included assessments, certificate terms, trials and any financial-aid options. Access conditions can change; review the current offer before paying.

Put it into practice

Define a small useful increment and explain how a team would know it is done. Identify the inspection and adaptation opportunities during a sprint, then compare the result with a simple list of completed tasks.
