Course overview

EDUCBA uses a resort project to practice planning and modeling several related structures. Two modules develop the main building, pool and cottages before refining components and finishing details. The project gives learners an opportunity to coordinate repeated elements and site relationships within one organized SketchUp model.

What you will learn

  • Create a scaled site and building model
  • Reuse components across a larger project
  • Organize and refine resort geometry

Who this suits

The course is labeled Beginner. Basic navigation and drawing practice will make the applied project easier; the main value is coordinating a site model rather than merely learning a single extrusion command.

Before you enroll

The header estimates six hours while module estimates total seven; both include learning activities. SketchUp access is separate. Pool safety, structural design and resort operations require expertise beyond a model-building exercise. Keep the example clearly identified as a visualization and verify units before interpreting spatial relationships.

Coursera offers paid enrollment or subscription access. Check the enrollment screen for assessment and certificate terms, trials and any financial-aid options. Provider access terms can change; review them before paying.

Put it into practice

Create a fictional small leisure site with repeated cabins and a pool outline. Check component reuse and circulation in plan view, then explain which details are illustrative rather than technically designed.
