Course overview

LearnQuest develops Scrum practice through user stories, prioritization and backlog refinement. Velocity, reporting and risk considerations extend the discussion beyond the framework’s initial definitions. The course is useful when you want to connect an artifact with the decision it supports and examine how a team interprets information about its work.

What you will learn

  • Connect stories and refinement with a product objective.
  • Interpret velocity and reporting within a team context.
  • Explain a risk consideration in iterative work.

Who this suits

Basic Scrum vocabulary will make the methods easier to follow. Review the introductory course first if accountabilities, events and artifacts are still unfamiliar.

Before you enroll

A completion certificate is separate from PSM I or CSM. Scrum.org permits its assessment without compulsory class attendance; Scrum Alliance requires the approved CSM training route. Check the chosen credential’s current rules and fees.

Coursera offers paid enrollment or subscription access. Check the enrollment screen for included assessments, certificate terms, trials and any financial-aid options. Access conditions can change; review the current offer before paying.

Put it into practice

Write a few stories for a fictional product and explain their order. Identify one uncertainty to resolve through refinement, then describe a progress measure and the limitation that prevents it from becoming a simple productivity score.
