Codio — Chalece DeLaCoudray
Explore Codio’s developer-focused CI/CD course for GitHub Actions, automated builds and tests, secret handling and a calculator application project.
Opens on the provider’s site. Check current access and certificate terms there.
Codio develops CI/CD through three modules that move from manual development steps to integrated automation. GitHub Actions provides the workflow context, followed by build, test and quality checks. Deployment and secret handling lead into a calculator application capstone, giving learners a small project through which to explain the delivery sequence rather than only its terminology.
The provider lists an intermediate level. Existing programming and GitHub familiarity will help you focus on automation rather than learning every application concept at the same time.
Check the current runner, dependency and deployment setup used by the exercises. A calculator is a useful contained learning project; a production pipeline needs additional decisions about environments, permissions, observability and recovery.
Coursera offers paid enrollment or subscription access. Check the enrollment screen for included assessments, certificate terms, trials and any financial-aid options. Access conditions can change; review the current offer before paying.
Rebuild the capstone workflow for a different small application. Introduce a failing check and verify which artifact, if any, becomes available. Explain how a retry avoids using output from an unsuitable run.
